Clean it good, clean it better

Avoiding material loss is one of the main challenges for industries that handle bulk material.

The advancement of technology combined with Martin's experience has allowed us to develop cleaners with high cleaning efficiency without putting employees at risk.  We understand that the better the quality of the cleaner, the better its performance on the belt and, therefore, the whole process will benefit.

We are aware that there are several types of cleaners on the market, but not all of them are able to carry out the task of cleaning the belt well. Not to mention other factors that are decisive for choosing a cleaner, such as its maintenance and effectiveness (a point where many do not have great advantages), long-term use and especially the cost-benefit item.

Seeking an innovative and efficient differential, Martin Engineering developed the Martin CleanScrape®, a primary cleaner with tungsten carbide blades, capable of operating on belts with mechanical splices and great cleaning efficiency. Its durable matrix features maximum cleanliness and low or zero belt compromise, something common cleaners cannot accomplish.

Its service life is relatively longer than that of a common scraper. Once the scraper is installed correctly, it requires very low maintenance due to its technology. Normally, only one adjustment operation during the entire blade life. Resulting in more effective production and no interruptions. And also in more security for the operator, who does not need to carry out recurring maintenance.

As the cleaner is installed diagonally on the drum of discharge, it forms a three-dimensional curve. Thus, it is able to create an ideal contact pressure between the belt and the scraper without damaging the belt.

A proven solution, providing long running, highly effective belt cleaning performance while requiring minimal maintenance in major bulk materials handling industries around the world. Mining, Coal-handling facilities, Power plants, Cement, Aggregate, Concrete plants, Chemical, Ports, among others, Martin CleanScrape® offers a broad range of advantages over traditional belt cleaning systems and provides a clear return on investment for any operation.

All this makes the CleanScrape® an above average belt scraper and unique on the market, as its technology is developed within Martin Engineering.
