Conveyor equipment for materials handling and mining
PROK has been a trusted conveyor components partner for over 50+ years.
PROK is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of quality conveyor components.
Our key business strength and competitive advantage is that we specialize solely in conveyor components, and we have been doing so for over 50 years.
Our strategically located manufacturing facilities situated across the globe – with new facilities in Vancouver, BC and Salt Lake City, Utah – along with our specialized engineering and service teams – ensure that our customers receive high-performance and cost-effective conveyor components. Being local means that customers get the technical support they need, when they need it.
PROK’s organizational culture, which is centered around flexibility and responsiveness, is embedded into every aspect of our operations, which means we are driven by our customers’ success each and every day.
Innovation at work
Like our tagline “Innovation at Work,” we pride ourselves on innovation. We have developed a world-class research and development team that is dedicated to exploring new technologies, materials, and solutions to constantly improve our products’ efficiency and performance to deliver more sustainable, cost-effective solutions to our customers.
We partner with organizations to test and develop new designs, continuing a legacy of innovation that saw PROK in 1948 pioneer the development of conveyor pulleys and idlers in the global materials handling market.
Some of our most recent innovations include: new composite roller technology such as the PROK HDPE, cutting edge pulley design and manufacturing software development, implementation of Pulley Vibration Analysis test rigs, and robotic automated production equipment across our global facilities to increase roller production capacity.
We focus on training, mentoring, development and recognition of our people to create safe and successful high performing teams, cultivating the capabilities of our employees to realize our collective potential. This drives continuous improvement within our company culture, building experience, expertise and passion within our people, enabling us to deliver innovative solutions.
PROK’s Vibration Analysis Test Rig gives customers confidence that they have defect free bearings prior to dispatch.
Built on legacy
PROK has strategically expanded its global footprint, establishing new manufacturing facilities and refurbishment centres in key regions, with a focus on customer proximity. This expansion not only ensures faster delivery to customers but also strengthens PROK's presence in emerging markets. The company has solidified its position as a global leader in conveyor components through increased market share and brand recognition.
Over the past 5 years, PROK has significantly invested in research and development both in manufacturing Automation and materials engineering, leading to the introduction of several innovative conveyor components. This includes the incorporation of advanced materials, such as nanocomposites and high-performance polymers, to enhance wear resistance and overall durability. Smart technologies like PROKoMON temperature sensors and IoT-enabled devices have been integrated into products to provide real-time monitoring and data-driven insights.
The complete conveyor experience
Our rollers, idlers, pulleys, belt accessories, and services deliver superior outcomes on site so that performance never stops.

How does the introduction of the world's first and only composite roller with visual wear indicators show PROK's commitment to innovation?
The development of the world's first and only composite roller with visual wear indicators demonstrates PROK's pioneering spirit.
By introducing a technology that has not been seen in the industry before, PROK establishes itself as an innovator, pushing the boundaries of conventional conveyor component design.
Visual wear indicators directly address a common concern for conveyor system operators—determining the condition of rollers in real-time. PROK's innovation reflects a customer-centric approach by providing a solution that enhances maintenance efficiency and reduces downtime through visual cues that indicate when roller replacement or maintenance is required.
The introduction of visual wear indicators enhances the safety and reliability of conveyor systems. By providing a clear visual signal when a roller is approaching the end of its lifecycle, PROK helps prevent potential issues associated with worn-out rollers, reducing the risk of unexpected failures and ensuring the continuous and safe operation of conveyor systems.
North American capabilities
PROK currently has two facilities within North America, one in Surrey, BC, Canada, and the other in Salt Lake City, Utah, USA.
PROK Canada specializes in pulley manufacturing, refurbishment, and testing, while PROK USA specializes in conveyor idler manufacturing. Both facilities are backed by PROK’s global engineering and technical support teams.
These facilities ensure fast turnarounds on new equipment and the best possible customer service and support.
Global strength, local support
Establishing facilities in close proximity to customers, especially in mining regions, enables companies to provide better service and support. It enhances responsiveness to customer needs, reduces lead times, and fosters stronger relationships with local clients.
Global expansion facilitates the transfer of technologies and innovation from one region to another. Companies may establish innovation hubs or research centers in strategic locations to tap into local expertise, research capabilities, and emerging technologies.
