Returning for its 5th Series, the Australian Mine Ventilation Conference 2019 will provide a unique opportunity to address major industry challenges, present latest developments and explore achievements to improve safety levels in the underground mining industry.

Jointly hosted by the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy (AusIMM), the Mine Ventilation Society Australia (MVSA) and the University of NSW (UNSW), MineVent 2019 will feature eight keynote speakers and over 40 technical presentations.

Over three-days the conference will highlight key topics on metal and coal mine ventilation planning and design, mine fires and explosions, mine heat and refrigeration, as well as offer an extended program of interactive workshops and networking opportunities.

The conference will bring operators, planning personnel, equipment manufacturers and suppliers, government regulators, consultants and research and technology personnel together to explore achievements and build a better industry.
