Supporting Global Customers

Geographe understands that the best way to assist is to be present in the region. They solve customers' challenges by physically meeting with the stakeholders of the sites, listening closely to their challenges and concerns, and matching them with EP solutions. This has resulted in swift solutions with high-quality, Australian-designed solutions addressing their needs effectively.

One of the Geographe Enhanced Performance™ (EP) parts, which has proven instrumental in preventing premature Hitachi failure in Asia, is the Top Hat Bush. The EP Top Hat Bush was originally a custom-engineered solution designed to solve an Australian mining customer’s challenge of premature wear observed with the original Hitachi bush. The result was an enhanced alternative that strengthened the thrust plate and bush arrangement in the excavators. This enhanced component not only extends equipment durability but also significantly reduces machine downtime, ultimately leading to increased longevity and improved operational efficiency.
