The Robe Mesa iron ore project in Western Australia is being developed by CRZ Resources with an estimated capital expenditure of A$128m ($81.6m). Construction is scheduled to start in April 2024 and first iron ore production is expected in Q2 2025.

The Baptiste nickel project is a greenfield, open-pit mining project in British Columbia that is being developed by FPX Nickel with an estimated initial capital cost of $2.18bn. A prefeasibility study for the project was completed in September 2023.

Turnagain is one of the world’s largest undeveloped nickel sulphide deposits, located in northern British Columbia, Canada. Hard Creek Nickel, a joint venture of Giga Metals (85%) and Mitsubishi (15%), is developing the project with an estimated initial capital cost of $1.9bn.
