Sand Spreader & Water Tank

The days of having a water truck sit idle all winter are gone with the interchangeable water tank and sand spreader bodies from TowHaul. Perform both duties on a single haul truck by changing out the bodies for the appropriate seasons. The TowHaul interchangeable system increases efficiency and asset utilization.

Maximum Volume Water Tank (MVT)

  • 3 piece modular design with baffling
  • Designed to interchange with a TowHaul road
  • Single haul truck, dual purpose
  • Complete operator control from cab including:

      o Spray heads
      o Water level indicator
      o Optional fire monitor conditioning body

         (sand spreader)

Road Conditioning Body (Sand Spreader)

  • Effectively spreads material 2” minus
  • Fully rear-tipping design to dump non-feeding loads
  • No support equipment required (graders, dozers)
  • Complete operator control from cab including:

       o  Spinner disc speed
       o  Chute opening
       o  Material vibrators

  • Removable Gooseneck can be used for multiple functions including disabled haul truck recovery 

Dragline Bucket Transporter 

The versatile TowHaul Gooseneck can be used to haul dragline buckets with the optional TowHaul Bucket Transporter. Designed for mines with multiple draglines, the patented TowHaul Bucket Transporter is an easy-to-use specialty piece of equipment that enables mines to move dragline buckets without the use of a crane and special transport.

  • No need for a crane
  • Eliminates the need for additional auxiliary equipment (crane, forklifts and addittional trailers)  
  • The bucket transporter can be designed to handle a variety of dragline buckets
  • The simple wishbone design makes it fast and efficient to load / unload

Recovering a disabled haul truck is fast and efficient with the TowHaul towing package. At the touch of a button, the TowHaul gooseneck can be reconfigured into a tow vehicle to recover even the largest ultra-class trucks in mining.

  • Quickly remove disabled haul trucks from haul roads or load out locations
  • No need to take a second truck out of production to recover the disabled truck
