Australian Critical Minerals secures final drill permit for Flint project in Peru

Australian Critical Minerals (ACM) has secured the final drill permit for the northern concession at its Flint gold-silver project (Gaya 103) in Peru.

This approval clears the way for ACM to commence drilling at the Flint project, targeting highly prospective Natural Source Audio-Frequency Magnetotelluric (NSAMT) resistivity anomalies from sanctioned drill pad locations.

The approved drill pads are strategically located directly over the core NSAMT resistive zone, as defined by preliminary geophysical modelling.

Early NSAMT data has indicated a large, continuous resistive body, interpreted as the core of a high-sulfidation gold-silver system.

Meanwhile, survey acquisition is advancing rapidly southward across the broader Flint project area, enlarging the target footprint and strengthening exploration potential ahead of drilling activities.

Following the completion of the survey, 3D inversion modelling will be undertaken to finalise drill collar orientation and targeting.

Up to ten diamond drill-holes are planned, providing a robust initial test of the identified system.

Nexus Minerals provides exploration update on Wallbrook gold project in WA

Nexus Minerals has shared an exploration update for its Wallbrook gold project, revealing that systematic regional exploration has advanced five prospects toward resource definition drilling.

The Wallbrook gold project is located 140km north-east of Kalgoorlie in Western Australia (WA). The five prospects are Branches, Payns, Clement, Amand and Godfrey.

These prospects have varying footprints, with Branches covering 1,500m × 300m, Payns 650m × 250m, Clement 900m × 750m, Amand 1,700m × 600m and Godfrey 1,200m × 100m.

All targets sit on granted mining leases adjacent to existing infrastructure and near the Crusader-Templar deposit, offering near-term production optionality. These regional discoveries are part of the broader 192km² Wallbrook tenement package, indicating potential for additional future discoveries.

Resource definition reverse circulation (RC) drilling is scheduled for the first quarter of 2026 (Q1 2026) to advance these high-priority prospects. The recently completed aircore (AC) drilling campaign comprised 295 drill-holes totalling 10,113m.

MetalsGrove secures 75km Côte d’Ivoire gold corridor via JV

MetalsGrove Mining has significantly expanded its gold exploration footprint in Côte d’Ivoire, securing a 75km contiguous corridor through a new joint venture (JV) with Aucrest Sarl, a subsidiary of Stellar AfricaGold.

This builds on the acquisition of three gold JV permits earlier this year. MetalsGrove said that the addition of the PR750-Zuénoula permit increases its total controlled exploration area in the region to 1,315km², consolidating its position along the highly prospective Abujar–Napié gold trend within the Oumé–Fetekro Birimian greenstone belt.

The newly acquired Zuénoula permit, covering 395.78km², sits strategically between MetalsGrove’s existing Kounahiri West and Vavoua permits.

In total, MetalsGrove’s four JV gold permits are located roughly 100km north of the Abujar Gold Mine and 160km south of the Napié gold deposit.

The geological features and structural complexity of these JV project areas are interpreted to be highly conducive to significant gold discoveries.

Hamelin Gold begins on-ground exploration at Venus gold project in WA

Hamelin Gold has commenced on-ground exploration at its Venus gold project in the Murchison gold district of WA following the award of a second exploration licence.

With 300km² of granted tenure, the Venus gold project exploration positions Hamelin Gold among the largest tenement holders in the Cue region.

The project is located approximately 15km south-east of Cue and 10km east of Caprice Resources’ Island Gold discovery.

It lies south-west of the Comet and Tuckabianna gold corridors, each of which hosts deposits exceeding one million ounces of gold. The majority of the tenements are concealed beneath lake sediments and have experienced limited historical exploration.

Hamelin Gold has a compelling opportunity to explore for gold beneath Lake Austin, where strong conceptual structural geology is present and the area lacks previous exploration.

The company said it is finalising plans for a heritage survey across multiple targets within the project area to prepare for its inaugural drilling programme at Venus.

Moonlight begins drilling at Clermont gold project after ASX debut

Moonlight Resources has begun drilling at the Clermont gold project in Queensland, Australia, kicking off exploration activities following its successful debut on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX).

The drilling programme is focused on the high-priority Leo Grande prospect, aiming to progress towards a maiden mineral resource estimate.

The company recently closed its initial public offering (IPO), raising A$10m ($6.65m) amid strong interest from institutional and sophisticated investors, including shareholders of Lithium Plus Minerals and Diatreme Resources.

Proceeds from the IPO will be used primarily to fast-track the exploration programme at Clermont.

The initial campaign consists of up to 2,000m of reverse circulation drilling at Leo Grande, with assays expected in the first quarter of calendar year 2026.

This phase aims to validate and extend the existing geological model, which includes 70 historical RC drill-holes totalling more than 4,620m, completed by previous operators.
