Mastering heavy loads with finesse
The Samson 70.10 Telehandler
Dieci, a leader in telehandler innovation since 1962, is renowned for engineering technological, reliable, and durable machines across industries worldwide. The Samson 70.10 telehandler is no exception, offering raw power and precision handling tailored to the rigorous demands of Australian worksites. With a maximum lifting capacity of 7,000 kg and a reach of 9.65 metres, the Samson 70.10 is the ideal solution for heavy-duty environments like mining and industrial sites, ensuring efficiency and safety under the toughest conditions.
Engineered for strength and stability
Whether the boom is fully retracted or extended, this model delivers consistent performance. Its rugged build, combined with a transversal levelling device, keeps the chassis steady on uneven ground, providing a stable platform for all types of lifting tasks.
Equipped with Dieci's patented single compensation cylinder within the lifting ram, the Samson 70.10 keeps loads balanced on the boom. This innovation reduces strain on components, prolonging the life of the machine while delivering smooth and reliable performance.
Key features and benefits:
- Power and stability: Handles the toughest loads in mining and industrial settings.
- Precision and control: Includes an inching pedal to slow down or stop movement while maintaining power to the boom, perfect for delicate operations.
- Adaptable: Three steering modes—2WS, 4WS, and crab steering—ensure easy manoeuvrability across various terrains.
- Dual axle brakes: Ready to roll MDG15 compliant, dual axle dual circuit service brake system.

Enhanced safety and comfort for tough conditions
Safety and operator comfort are prioritised with the Samson 70.10’s clever features. Its ROPS-FOPS approved cab, designed with a secure safety cell, keeps operators safe in hazardous conditions - enhanced with a Load Limiter Device that ensures safety, stability and control, automatically halting unsafe movements. Other safety features include a deadman sensor and an operator presence sensor, ensuring safe handling at all times.
Comfort is equally considered in the Samson’s design. The cab is soundproofed, offering operators a quieter work environment that reduces fatigue. The advanced air conditioning system, equipped with six outlet vents, maintains a comfortable internal temperature even in Australia’s harsh climates, further enhancing operator focus and productivity.
Comfort features:
- Ergonomically designed cabin with adjustable steering and air suspension seating.
- Large, curved windows provide 360° visibility for improved situational awareness.
- Integrated LCD display for easy monitoring of operational parameters.
Unmatched performance and efficiency
The Samson 70.10 is equipped with a 125 hp (93 kW) FPT engine, combining strength and speed for efficient heavy-duty tasks. Its hydrostatic transmission with a two-speed gearbox ensures smooth operation, with variable power for both high-torque and top-speed needs.
This model also includes a 4-in-1 joystick, which controls all boom functions, with integrated Forward-Neutral-Reverse (FNR) functionality for intuitive, precise operation. The joystick’s proportional and simultaneous controls make the Samson easy to operate, even for extended hours on demanding sites.
Enhanced features for optimal performance:
- Side shift carriage: Simplifies load positioning and stacking.
- Reversible fan system: Prevents dust and debris build-up, keeping the radiator clean.
- Hydraulic flow rate: High flow rate of 130 L/min for rapid, responsive manoeuvres.
With versatile attachment options like forks, buckets, and bale clamps, the Samson 70.10 adapts to a wide range of applications, making it a highly flexible solution.
