Seal it like you mean it!

Martin Engineering’s belt sealing solutions include skirting products that ride on the belt and self-adjust to maintain an effective seal without regular maintenance. We also offer wear liners that shield the sealing system from the material load, prolonging the life of the seal.

These products are engineered to minimize fugitive dust and fine particulates from escaping the belt. Our belt sealing products are available for troughing angles ranging between 0 and 45 degrees. Plus, the compact design enables installation with as little as 1¼ inch of free space on each side of the belt.

Discover Martin’s different models

As the handling of bulk material varies according to the product transported, Martin has developed different models of Belt Skirting. Installed along the belt, the side sealing self-adjust to maintain an effective seal without the need for frequent maintenance.

Martin experts are available to help define which model is best suited for each application:

Martin ApronSeal™ Single: low maintenance, spill-preventing seal system to ensure effective sealing. The primary seal is secured to the gutter wall with the self-adjusting secondary layer outward to create an effective seal against dust exiting the material flow.

Martin ApronSeal™ Double: a primary and secondary seal strip in a single sided elastomer. The self-adjusting secondary seal utilizes Martin Engineering's patented constant-angle radial pressure technology to provide the most effective seal against dust lift.

Both solutions also have models for heavy duty use in hostile and aggressive environments.

Besides all benefits, your employee is kept safe!

The advantages of using Martin’s Sealing Solutions are plenty, in addition to eliminating fugitive material, keeping your material on the conveyor belt and eliminating unexpected downtime for cleaning and maintenance, the solution creates a safer environment for the people involved in the operation.

By eliminating the risk of fire through a spark and explosion and avoiding dust-related health hazards, your operation is cleaner, more efficient, and safer.

Our technicians and engineers are available to provide expert advice and assistance on this product and all your bulk material handling questions and problems. Please contact us today and let us help!
