Project updates
Australia’s Wesfarmers and its joint venture (JV) partner have started construction on the Holland lithium project in Western Australia (WA), after securing all critical approvals.

Evolution Mining has approved the underground development of the Cowal mine in New South Wales, Australia.
The Cowal gold operation is located around 38km north-east of West Wyalong.
US-based gold mining company Newmont has approved the advancement of the Ahafo North Project in Ghana into the execution phase.
Comprising four open-pit mines and a standalone mill, the project development is estimated to cost between $750 to $850m.
Musk Metals has started a Phase II exploration programme on its 100%-owned Elon Lithium project in Quebec, Canada.
