Its special field is the design and manufacture of plaited and woven steel cables for rigging gear and terminal systems for these cables. Our Superflex cable is made locally on our site in NSW and we sell through over 100 Australian Distributors.


Andromeda's Plaited and Woven Division manufactures Superflex steel Cables and Slings, as well as the Flat Woven Steel Slings. These are used in a wide range of Lifting Applications in many industries.


Andromeda has now expanded it Superflex size range, we now produce up to 96mmcable, and have the facility’s to make and test these size slings and strops with a quick turnaround time .
